Tier 3/Accolade very unprofessional

I feel Tier 3 Accolade support is very unprofessional and they did not pay the money the owe. Not only I did not get my training pay, I did not get paid for all the hours I worked for this company. I understand the company states that if IC quits or they fire them before the two week time period, they will not receive pay. HOWEVER, I HAVE NOT RECEIVE MY PAY AND I WAS AND IC SINCE JULY 5th. To add the sweet icing to the cake, they fired me on August 11th for some lame excuse stating, I was too high maintenance. I am not high maintenance and I think the main reason they fired me because they don't want to pay me. I spoke to the owner the same day he fired me(his name is Shawn Hawkins) said he will email me my hours I worked and my paycheck. I have not seen any emails from him nor paycheck. I contacted him and left messages and he will not return them back. I am not upset because they fired me, I am really upset because I have not receive my paycheck for the hours I worked. I am really starting to think this company maybe a scam. If theres is any legal advice out here for a situation like this, I will like to know so I can take the next step. I really don't like bashing on a wahj and honestly, this is the first wahj I ever had problems with extreme unprofessionalism and pay like this. If they would only paid me the money they owe me, I would not post about them like this.

Just want to let everyone know that I finally receive my check in the mail today. I can finally move on and not take legal actions. Thank you all for all of your support.

Re: Tier 3/Accolade very unprofessional

I got hired on with this company several months back.
I set up several appts for training and was stood up twice! Each time, there was some lame excuse as to why they had not call to complete my training.
Then, once I DID complete training (which was poorly handled) and they took a list of my available hours, I was assigned a schedule that came NO WHERE near the hours I had stated I could/would work!
I sent an email to the "manager" and explained that I felt their company was unprofessional and I would NOT work for them.

Glad you got your money from them. I suggest everyone else stear away from this company! Not sure if they are a scam but they are poorly managed!

Re: Tier 3/Accolade very unprofessional

I worked for Accolade for about a month. I quit on Monday. After working there a month, I was told would I should get a check by the end of the month, ok well that time came and went, so I called and emailed, no response after several attempts. I decided after doing research on several boards and nothing good, to quit. I sent an email saying I quit, because of not being paid and no response to several of my phone calls or emails. Ofcourse I got a response then, my first check was cut the same day I quit, which means the check was never mailed out, and fedexed to me. I will now be fighting to get the rest of my pay. I also stated that if you want people to work for you, you MUST pay them, no response. They had the nerve to ask me to work til the end of the week, NOT.

Don't waste you time with this company. If I am performing duties for your company, I espect to be paid for it, case closed.

Re: Tier 3/Accolade very unprofessional

I am now fighting to get the rest of my money from this company, and am not getting anywhere. No responses from emails or phone calls. I would like to know if anyone has suggestions for going after companies who do not pay, whom would I contact, where would I report, etc.

Re: Tier 3/Accolade very unprofessional

I hate to see anyone put their time & effort into someone elses business & get stiffed on their pay.
I don't know what your employment status was/is with this company, whether an IC, hourly employee or by commission.
Regardless, there are some pretty strong laws about not paying workers what they are owed & there are some places you can research that may be able to help.
Here's a link to a post by topdawg to help you get started. He has some great links there.

You might also want to Google the Dept of Labor, there's a federal website & possibly one for your state.
Sometimes called the (Hourly) Wage & Labor Board.
Best of luck!
