Thanks: 183 Thanked 16 Times in 15 Posts | You mean it gets WORSE after graduation?! OK, so I'm trying to get my 25 calls and last night I sat for about 2 hours with 3 minutes of tt. I made 38 cents an hour last night!!! And I have heard people talking about the great tt during your 25 calls. Um.....where is it?! Do you think it was because I was logged on during a time when the products I am taking calls for weren't airing (I don't think they were)? Is that why they say to work on the weekend? Also, is this the kind of cv I should expect after graduation? Man, it was DEAD!!! I had to keep checking to make sure I wasn't kicked off. I love this company and I am willing to pay my dues and deal with slow cv at first, but I'm just scared because most of you guys said the cv was hopping at first. And to make matters worse, I got a total of three calls last night. One was like 2 min 34 seconds. Ok, that counts. But the other two were hang ups so one only counted for 2 seconds and on the other one, the lady at least let me speak, but it was only 24 seconds!!! You couldn't have waited 6 more seconds to hang up on me?! LOL So, I only have 2 calls towards my 25. Maybe I can kick butt this weekend! Tell me it will get better. I'm just frustrated because I want to quit my day job SoOoOo bad. But I know that good things come to those who wait. At least I got some of my Medical Transcription coursework done. After I graduate I won't have to deal with phones anymore But I probably will because I like LO __________________ ^^Thanks for the beautiful signature Melynn!!^^ ^^My wonderful boyfriend made this one for me - thanks baby!^^ | | | | Today, 07:04 AM | #2 | | Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 63

Most of the new people who are going for their 25 calls (from what I have read) are doing it on weekends so yes, their is more cv then. Were you committed? If the shows that you are taking calls for are not airing then you will definitely get a lot less calls. You will definitely get your calls on weekends so don't worry. If you want to take the calls during the week, I find late afternoons/early evenings better for cv and make sure you commit during the times that all your products run, better chance of getting calls. Just remember, it is slow at first but soon it will pick up!! __________________ -KRISTEN http://www.ppcappraisal.com/register...1&RefId=109231 make money just by keeping your computer running - pm me for detailed email NO COST!!! | | | The above Post has been thanked for by: | | Today, 07:41 AM | #3 | | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Erie, PA Posts: 165
Thanks: 3 Thanked 22 Times in 20 Posts | Re: You mean it gets WORSE after graduation?! When you take your first 25 calls, you can't commit. I did mine during the week and it wasn't that bad. I had a good day and then a slow day. But i paid my dues. Also after you graduate the cv will be slow. You expect it until you get your stats up. My 1st committed shift, i didn't receive any calls. so the next one im thinkin to myself, this will be long cuz i prolly won't have any calls and i was wrong, i was b2b the entire hour. so its up and down until your stats are good. After you graduate, try to keep your commit performance up however It will get better. | | | The above Post has been thanked for by: | | Today, 07:54 AM | #4 | | Mod Squad Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: on the edge of insanity Posts: 933

I got a variety of calls but none for the calls you're taking ... I don't think they were playing .... so that could be ... I believe it's the time of the day that you signed on .. I would try more during the day ... morning is a good time ... and of course the weekends as everyone above has stated. It gets better ... you just have to have patience. __________________ The summer night is like a perfection of thought. ~Wallace Stevens" | | | The above Post has been thanked for by: | | Today, 08:12 AM | #5 | | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,211

I found that the training schedule for the weekend, pretty much coincided with the weekdays for those products. I would log on from about 6 in the morning to about 10 in the morning during the week and got tons of calls for those training calls. I signed in during the night and on midnights and didn't get any calls. If you're impatient now, you're gonna have to suck it up a little once you get out of training, cuz like many on here have posted numerous times, you go to the bottom when you get out of training, and the calls will be slow at first. But like everyone else here, I will say, if you're patient, work your commits, stay in the green, once you get rated on some products, you'll be quite happy. But it doesn't happen over night for sure. I don't know about others, but every single one of my calls counted toward my 25, even those less than 30 seconds __________________ If I wanted to hear pitter patter of little feet I'd put shoes on my dogs | | | | The above Post has been thanked for by: | | Today, 09:04 AM | #7 | | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Smithfield, VA Posts: 142

It seems like it took you about a month before you started getting steady calls, right? About how many hours were you logged in for those first couple of weeks? And thanks to everyone else. I know I'm an impatient little brat, but I'm trying to keep it under control I'm just so excited that I finally found something I really like and I want to do this full-time NOW. LOL.....the impatient brat is coming out again Go away already hehehe __________________ ^^Thanks for the beautiful signature Melynn!!^^ ^^My wonderful boyfriend made this one for me - thanks baby!^^ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | All times are GMT -5.
