Currently in GSI Multi-Vertical Training
Hi,
I'm a new Willow agent that is currently in training with GSI multi-vertical evening class. Does anyone currently service this client. I would love to have someone to stay in touch with or to ask questions. I am nervous about so much information. Thanks, Carla |

Re: Currently in GSI Multi-Vertical Training
Hi, I am certified for GSI. I trained for them and worked for them up until about 3 weeks ago. I will probably start picking up some hours again now that they are busy. Feel free to ask any questions, but you may need to private message me so I'll check the board.

Thanks Lorrie,
Things are going well so far. We have call monitoring Nov. 11. Do you remember what this is like? How many calls will we have to take to certify. We are scheduled for 4 hours that day. Thanks again, Carla |

Re: Currently in GSI Multi-Vertical Training
For call monitoring/certification you usually have at least one day of just taking practice calls. Depending on the call volume and how many agents there are, you should probably take 4 or 5. I would highly recommend that you take as many calls as you, its PRACTICE, and the more you take, the better you will feel on certification day. The tendency of new/nervous folks is to take as few calls as possible and get out of there. Be brave, and you will be very glad you did the next day when you are trying to certify.
Certification is hard no matter what, just expect to be nervous. I have done 5 or 6 certifications now, and still get sick as a dog. With this client, remember to fill in the dead air and use a lot of please and thank you's. As long as you are doing that, sounding friendly and upbeat, navigating half-way decent in epiphany, and making a cross-sell offer, you will pass. Very few people do not pass certification and you can usually pick out those folks well before call taking day. You usually need to take about 4 calls on cert day, sometimes less. It just depends on if they are monitoring you for all of them. They usually need 2 or 3 with an acceptable score. You are scheduled for four hours b/c not everyone is usually taking calls at once. They have a few agents at a time on cert day so they have a chance to monitor, etc. There is a lot of waiting around. I would recommend going first! Be brave. The longer you sit there, the more the anticipation/nerves will kick in. Good Luck!!
