I got an email last night asking about when I would be available for training. I was just wondering if any of you have started training or working yet and how it's going. I'm a little nervous especially since my husband is not too supportive about me working at home. Reply here or PM me.....thanks

I had training yesterday. My post is above yours. I listen to her tonight take calls. She did email me available schedules that I can sign up for. I will commit to something after tonight. I want to make sure I am comfortable. We don't take any payment information from the customer so you don't have to worry about that. We just put how they will pay and the locksmiths take all the information when they go to the location.

Ok,so tonight was my first official night. I listed to the manager take about 10 calls then I took some. First call I bombed, lol. I quoted something we can't quote. Second call was just a call back so not bad. I had one lady mad because she was waiting over 30 minutes but she was slightly rude, not bad. The longest call I took was 3 minutes but I am slow navigating so it is taking me a while completing the ticket. It will become easy after I get used to the system. The supervisor said I was doing good for a newbie. I kept forgetting to quote prices so I had to block my number and call back and quote the price and ask how they were paying. Other than that it is easy. I just have to get the name, number, town they are calling from(city and state pops up), address, or cross streets, year of car, make, color and the reason they are calling and then dispatch the ticket. The hardest part is looking through the spreadsheets for the correct price list and quoting them the wait time, they are on separate sheets. I am integrating them now on one so they are on one excel sheet with tabs. I am trying to come up with a system so I can finish up quickly.

I like the job and love my manager. She is so so friendly. They don't monitor the calls unless you're in training or ask them to. You communicate through instant messenger and they can intercept the call at anytime if you need them to help you out. They are really nice people to work with. Very very friendly. I am going to bed now I have to go to work in the morning. Hopefully I can quit my office job soon. I can't wait to hear how everyone else does. I am working again tomorrow night at 10 p.m. Good luck to everyone!!!!

Oh yeah you don't have a script so I am trying to come up with my own so I can have it down pack you know. Anyway those who are trying to come aboard I wish you luck and hope that you get a chance next month. Pretty cool people to work with.

This is so cool. Thank you for the update. She asked me when I was available to train but that's the last I've heard from her. I'll email her this morning. Maybe she's pretty busy. Maybe you can share with us the script you come up with etc. And we'll do the same. Between all of us maybe we can be good at this

I got an email yesterday-I start training on Tuesday-YAY!!!! I am so excited!! I am so looking forward to it!! I too would like to be able to quit my day job!! Can't wait!

Yeah that is a good idea. I put it in a word document and I am trying to tweek it(is that a word?) lol.

awesome.. Hopefully with you and a few others getting started and when I do, maybe we can all have a group chat and try to come up with a script if you haven't by then.. It will be nice once more of us get to start that way we can all have a bit of input and know what you're talking about... I'm excited.. how busy were you?

very I missed calls. I had to switch to unavailable because I didn't have the hang of it. A call came through while I was with another person.

They do have a website. I looked it up a few days ago cuz I heard about them hiring at home workers. I am waiting to apply since I am moving to San Diego in 2 weeks and have to get a second phone line set up there. I hope in a month they start hiring again! I could REALLY use this job NOW but have to wait. LOL I love it when we find new job leads like this!

I have the price sheets set up by location on each tab. Maybe I can send it to you and you can add some things since you already went to training. I do not train until Wed.
