Default My new job

My "goal" was to quit working from home when my daughter starts school full time in the fall. I applied for a part time book keeping job and went for the interview yesterday. Guess what? When he found out I worked from home and all I could do from my computer...he told me that 85% of my job could BE DONE AT HOME!! I'll only have to go to the office once a week. So, even if you think you're gonna get out working in the public...watch out! LOL

In the first place, that's a good thing to know you can spend more time with your family. Congrats! Your job makes you feel good.

That's absolutely wonderful!

I was just watching a story on Good Morning American, about how more parents are wanting to have more flexible jobs to participate in their children's lives more.

Working from home is a wonderful option for many positions!

LOL sounds pretty much like my new prospect. Had a job offer last week outta the blue from a guy I used to work for and I was thinking I would be better off working outta the home, I dont need much contact with pple as a rule but I have been getting really bad not leaving the house at all for days at a time because there is no real need to.
The new job although the pay is excellent is like 50% driving about 25% stuff I will do at home(computer and phone), and the other 25% will actually be out in public, while about 20% of that will be in courthouse records and map rooms, only the other 5% will be dealing with people person to person.
Guess you couldnt call it a giant leap, only thing is at least I will be outside alot.
