Re: Tel*t*ch
There is a branch of the company in my hometown of Morgantown, WV. They handle different calls for banks or credit cards. All inbound, customer serivce calls. But it is not work from home, at least in WV.

Re: Tel*t*ch
Tele Tech is hiring at home agents in CO, FL, GA, IL, NE, PA and also some at home supervisors and trainers--go to their website, click careers, click opportunities--next page says pick a location from drop down menu, and the at home positions are listed there. Not hiring in my state, but sounds interesting. Lisa

Re: Tel*t*ch
Anyone take the post application assessment yet? How is it? Is there a typing test in it?

Re: Tel*t*ch
I applied a few weeks ago to this company.
I took the assessments, no typing involved. The assessment was very basic. I have also had two interviews - an automated one over the phone with very basic questions and the other was with one of the talent aquisition people. After the second interview, I was offered a job and told to wait for information that was to be mailed to me. The interviewer mentioned that although they could not say specifically what companies they were contracted with, it was inbound customer service work. Please be aware that there is a background check and a drug test that has to be completed and passed prior to working for them. I did find it odd there was a drug test for a work at home job ... but I am not concerned about passing it, just surprised there was one. Training, if everything checks out ok, is to be in the middle of November. I live in TX...so, they must be hiring in states other than CO, FL, GA, IL, NE and PA. Hope that helps.... ![]() |

Re: Tel*t*ch

Re: Tel*t*ch
I worked for this company in a call center also located in wv, but it was moundsville. I took calls for a cable company, I must say I LOVED it. The only reason I quit was because we moved. Since they opened it up to all states I applied.
lorraine, did they say whether you are an ic or an employee? |

I just applied and need to do the assessment.
So, I would be an employee, not an IC? Can someone PM me with more info? Like, are there benefits available? Is the pay hourly or Talk time? Thanks, Jennifer

Re: Tel*t*ch
Did anyone else see the new posting on this company? Here is the link I copied and pasted from it : http://www.sshwlaw.com/investigations.php?cid=0188.
I applied like 2 days ago and now I may pull my application because of it. Does anyone actually work for them and have gotten paid? |

Re: Tel*t*ch
I saw that post and read it all... made me curious as to what is going on. However, I wonder if they are going to more work at home people because there is no overtime, you must boot up your pc to even log in to work and etc. For me, I am going to at least look further into everything when my welcome packet arrives in the mail. I may or may not go forward with the offer depending on how my questions are answered by the package contents and my talk with my contact after reviewing everything that is being sent out to me.

Re: Tel*t*ch
I got a call today and I will be included in the hiring when they get the OK to hire people in Arizona. The lady was really nice and also told me the rate is hourly. That is nice. I worked for A*p*ne and they were hourly and I was an employee there too and they were hourly.
So, I have a couple of options! I just like it better when I can choose when I want to work and not have a set schedule where I have to work certain days but can choose hours in that day, but two weeks prior. That is how Al*i*e is and I got burned out. Okay, I am rambling now.....LOL

I would think that we would receive a phone call before we receive anything in the mail. So far no phone call....

Re: Tel*t*ch
I have not received my package yet. I did send an email asking about them and was told that the packages were being sent out late last week and early this week. I was told that they should arrive by next week... we will see. I don't think we are supposed to receive a phone call first, but I could be wrong. I am just waiting....

Right now they are not hiring in my state of LA and from your post they are not hiring in AZ either. Not to offend you as I know you have a substantial work history in customer service, but .... Do you know if they plan to start in your state soon so maybe that is why you got the call very quickly? ![]() |
