More questions
I probably should post over on the Wsol forum, but I just feel more comfortable right here for now..I've been practicing with the system and I'm wondering what we can do when we get to the last page and the customer suddenly asks a question like.. how far is the hotel from so and so landmark?.. I can't seem to figure out a way to get back to pull up info. like that without losing all the information already put into the system. Question 2..how do we pronounce those tricky foreign hotels?
Sorry to be such a bother but I am REALLY stressed out! I finished training on Monday and have yet to email what my first 2hrs will be because I'm just so darn scared! Doing nothing more than texting the last few months has really got me spoiled and dreading the phones now ![]()

Re: More questions
Don't worry Amy , everything will be just fine. Go ahead and schedule those hours. You will be so glad to get those behind you!
If you need to get back to the info page from that last screen, just click on the hyperlink of the hotel name, from within the page you are on. it will retain your info if necessary. If I am in the process of finishing the booking and they ask something that can wait until after the booking is completed, I just say that I will check that in just a moment. Alternately, you can hit control and N at the same time and it will pop up a duplicate browser and you can just hit back on that browser. HTH!

Re: More questions
Wow Becky, you're fast! I also just thought of something else. Calling the hotels while the customer is on the line? I can't for the life of me remember that being mentioned in training. And thank you Becky, that "control" and "n" is going to be a great help!

Re: More questions
I rarely do that, unless is will certainly secure a booking -- but you do it just like you were transfering a call - except you don't do the transfer --

Re: More questions
Amy was u in the same "class" as me? Mon 7p-9? Cuz I'm just as scared as you and I havent emailed them with any hours either yet. I think there was some people in there like for a 2nd time to hear it all over again by the sounds of it, I would like to do that if they allow it, cuz apparently I missed some things, and no one was really askin stuff,so I didnt wanna feel stupid and keep askin stuff cuz I already spoke up a few times lol. Good luck to u!

Re: More questions
Amy, on that question that you had about pronouncing those tricky foreign hotel names, here's the answer, you just do the best that you can do
If the customer acts befuddled about your pronunciation, then spell it out for them and then don't worry about it![]()
