If you visit the website, you will see it is quite pricey if you actually do get hired by a company, they require you to purchase italk if you are outside of their calling area, you have to purchase specific equipment, and you may have to pay for training. You also have to be registered as a business for some of the projects, if the client requires it.

It doesn't look like a scam, but it is a complicated process, much more so than getting hired with west or live ops. Some of the willow peeps may find that they have already done some of the work, since they have to be incorporated.

Plus what is the deal with the Police Background Check Letter?

Looks as if that's something for people in Canada. How would those from the United States handle this?

As most company's just do background checks.

Too many fees for me. Companies like these should be making money off their clients, not their agents. JMO.

This company is the predominant tele-source company in CANADA that contracts with independent contractors

This is not a good answer but I have no clue as to why this company does what they do but who really knows why, maybe they charge what they do just because they can.

SOme make the charges maybe tosee how dedicated you are to work and for them?? I mena you would not put up a bunch of money to not work right?

Hey all. Thanks for adding this to the board! I finished my pre-application and video. That was fun. It is a little pricey to get started but it doesn't seem any more pricey than W*ll*w which I am training for also. So I figured I'd give it a go. I am not going to buy any of the additional equipment (voip phone, finger scan, etc) unless I am invited for training. I did confirm that this was ok. So I don't think it would hurt (too much) to apply. I put in applications for the tech support position, PH and the audio one. Good luck to all who apply!!

I just got a message that the training for ***** 241 is free for the time being. Has anyone else gotten that message? and do you think it would be worth while? Has anyone gotten a job from this site?

I agree with you malibuchick, like W*ll*w they probably want you to invest a little to be sure you are going to be a good Agent and treat the customers right since you do have a little money invested. I know W*ll*ow is legit and it sounds like this company may have the same ideas.

Let me get this straight....
You can reside in the U.S. and work for this tele-work company? I thought that you have to live in or very close to the local calling area in Canada to be able to get a wahj with them. I would like to apply but want to make sure that I eligible for a wahj first. I live in Chicago...is this too far?

I looked into this company more than once and decided each time that it costs too much to get work with them. I also saw that thing about living in Metro Toronto and between all the hoops they make you jump through, decided it wasn't for me.

I was excited...until I did the online tests for my PC...it is .4 GHz off in it's processor speed. I just bought it 3 months ago!! This place is very specific in what it's looking for. I'm a little dissapointed...I just feel like Im banging my head against the wall.

I got accepted and just registered for training. It is a bit pricy but it should pay for itself within a month. The best thing for me are the late night hours. You will beed a VoiP connection. I did some research and decided to go with Sunrocket. If you want info on it send me a PM and Ill be happy to tell you...I also want you to use my name as a referral so I can get a discount!
