It didn't for me either, but I looked in my address bar and when you click on it, it only puts part of the link in there. Either highlight the whole link and past into your address bar or type it all in. I highlighted the whole link and pasted into my browser and it came up.

Aside from this opportunity how do you train to be a conscierge? Do you have to have worked with the company for a while?

I applied yesterday morning about 9 and I got a call yesterday afternoon about 4. I have an interview today in about 10 minutes- I then received an email about a background check that I will be glad to copy and paste if I knew how. Anyone want to im me the way to do it and I will get it on here. Looks like it will cost between 50.00- 55.00 which is alot I think. Not sure about this one?

I had my phone interview and I am still deciding what to do. They do not require you to be incorporated and you do have to pay a background check. The hours are good and the pay is good also. I don't know if I can begin the training because I have not given my boss notice yet. She wants me to begin training on the 16th and my notice will not be up until the 20th. So I am very unsure.

Well, I paid the 50 dollars for the background check only to be told on the dat training was to begin, that my credit was not good and that I could not start. This company is legit and a great opportunity, but 50 dollars is not such a small investment only to be turned down.

Just so you know what you may be getting into.

Did they give you any specifics? I mean do you have to be in a certain credit score range to work for them? You are not applying for a loan here. Everyone falls short sometimes with the bills. Although it is a requirement for them, I hope that new companies entering this arena do not be so credit strict for there work at home agents. Alot of good opportunities and wah contractors may miss each because of it.

They actually did not say what the reason was. And, for thr recored, my credit is not that bad. I just got a mortgage and a brand new car. Go figure.

How long did it take to get your credit report done? I turned mine in this morning and I do not have the greatest credit either. I told her that upfront and she told me that it would be ok....I mean really...I work at a bank...I have a credit check then and I am working with thousands of dollars in cash every day. I am going to be really upset if I paid 55$ for nothing. I am so sorry that happened to you.

Well I definately won't try applying then. Thanks for the heads up. I'm ok with an employer checking my criminal history but NOT my credit. It's none of their business. Plus every tag on my credit makes my points go down and I'm getting ready to apply for an auto loan.

yeah i don't have perfect credit either so I want get the job but did say on my application as to why my credit wasn't in tip top shape. one can only hope they understands and hey if they don't then oh well.

I've only had one employer in my entire work history check my credit, so I don't know what to think. Also, checks on your credit for employment purposes do not effect your credit.

I applied with this co about a month ago now.
I wasn't asked to pay for a background ck although I did have to sign a paper online for them to do a BG and credit ck.
I have never heard a thing back from them.
I was very leary of giving my SS # out because I got CC frauded 2 months ago. Thank God my CC co took care of it all.
I did do some research on this co before I sent all my personal info.
It looks to be a great co and been around quite awhile. Female owned!
The work looks interesting kinda upscale reservation agent.....PLUS!
The money was ok but I was looking more for the insurance. I have retired but since I'm too young to get SS and medicare I need something to pay the high cost of private insurance for myself.
I found a neet site www.cotind.com looks like it may be fun for someone with better eyes than me.
I have a friend who works for them and he says they are legit and honest.
This place has been around for sometime and is listed with the Fla BBB.
Worth a shot.
I remember as a highschool student (OMG that was before the pilgrims landed) my mom and I used to make these circuit boards for a local co.
It was piece work and lots of fun. They dropped off and picked up.
I'm sure it was some small amount per board.........
Also we did painting for ceramic statues.
I've rambled quite enough me thinks.

I had applied a while back and got an email in response, but when I heard the rumor that you had to be incorporated, I never followed through.

Today when I checked my email, they had contacted me again. I replied that I am interested, but if I have to be incorporated I would be unable to work for them. I gave them some time frames to call me next week for the interview, so we will see what happens.
